Vapid Lacquer; Halloween Trio

Afternoon beauties!  Hope your hump day is going well (or went well).  I like to volunteer at the kids schools and today was my first time volunteering as lunch yard duty at the middle school.  I felt like such a dork wearing that neon vest walking around with my walkie talkie.  I saw lots of kids I know but none of them wanted anything to do with me - UGH how mortifying!, a parent I know!  Haha.  I even saw my son, well, the back of his head.  He must have eaten lunch faster than usual because it was legit only 3 minutes then he disappeared. I know he saw me and skedaddled out of the quad.  Anyways, it was hot out there.  I can't believe it's Fall because it doesn't feel like it.  I want to feel that chill in the air, especially as we roll up to Halloween.  But I guess if I can't have that crisp Autumn air I'll settle for an amazing Halloween trio.

This brand new trio is from Vapid Lacquer and it will be available on 10/1 at 2pm Central.  These will be the only items stocked.  You will only be able to purchase full sized bottles and 1 of each color per person.  So let's jumping and check them out.

Rite of Exorcism is the ritual for expelling demons from the possessed.  It's a purple jelly with unicorn sparkle, holo shimmer and shifting iridescent flakes.  WHOA buddy, this one knocked my socks off!  I loved the finish and the giant flakes.  Though they may be big, they cause me no troubles with sticking up or needing to fish them out of the bottle.  So yeah, formula was great.  Application was great.  I used 3 coats for full coverage and finished with topcoat.

Mephistopheles is a demon that collects souls of the damned.  While that's some scary stuff I'm definitely not scared of this gorgeous polish.  It's a deep grey linear holo.  Super gorgeous with a smokey - dark vibe.  Like those "shadows" you see in all the ghost hunter shows.  Awesome formula and application here.  Total opacity in 2 coats and a layer of topcoat to show off the shine.

Lastly we have Leviathan, which are large and devastating sea monsters. Another not so scary polish that left me feeling uber drooly.  It's a aphotic blue base with shifty unicorn shimmer and some holo flame.  Oh hot damn, this is my jam!  I love how it's so vibrant purple in the middle and the edges show off that dark blue.  I see teal, magenta, blue and even a greenish-gold in certain lighting.  I used 3 coats for the perfect amount of depth and topcoat.
