Colors by Llarowe; Valentines 2017 Collection

Morning again dolls!  I've got a Valentine's Collection for you today and there are some real lookers in here!  This collection is from Colors by Llarowe and it's chalk full of things that Leah Ann does well...holo, shimmer, color shifting goodness.  The Valentine's Collection will be available for pre-order on 2/1 at 12pm MST and will be open for 24 hours.  The polishes range in price from $9 - $11.  Or you can get the entire set for $56.  So without further adieu, let's jump in and check out the polishes!

Who Needs Love is a blackened fuchsia red intense linear holo with blue flame.  I'm enamored with this sexy, deep berry shade.  And the holo effect is perfection.  Formula and application were both fabulous.  I used 2 thin coats for full coverage but this was easily a one coater.  I finished with topcoat.

As much as I loved the last one, Hearts on Fire stole my heart.  But you know I love a good, classy red.  This is classy but also super sexy.  It has that lit from within glow that makes me drool.  Anywho...this is a deep burgundy red linear holo with red to gold shimmer.  Formula and application were awesome.  I used 2 coats and topcoat to finish.

That Little Green Monster is a bit of the odd man out in this collection for me.  Don't get me wrong, it's a gorgeous polish, but green doesn't really fit into the theme for me.  Although I am assuming that it's referring to jealousy.  It's an emerald green intense linear holo with green and gold flame.  Again, formula and application were both perfection.  2 easy coats for full coverage but this would be a one coater for a more heavy handed painter.  Topcoat to finish.

You Sexy Thing is indeed sexy!  What a beautiful plum crelly with pink shimmer.  This is such a sultry and vampy polish, it's sure to make you feel both ways when you wear it.  Formula and application were stellar.  No issues to mention.  I used 2 coats for full coverage and topcoat to seal it in with some gloss!

Ok first let me say sorry for the lobster hands pictures.  But if I used my regular lighting the polish would have been blue and that's just not right.  So look past my weird colored skin and focus on the polish.  This is Let's Get Freaky, a vivid purple creme with pink and violet shimmer.  I actually found the formula to be a bit more jelly like.  It started out sheer but built up nicely in 3 coats.  I finished with topcoat.

And last but not least is It's A Gift.  This is a blackened violet base with various sizes of color shifting glitters that change from red to gold to green and copper to gold shimmer.  That's a mouthful!  In regular lighting the shift is slight, but you can see it.  Once you get out into indirect sunlight you can really see the change.  I enjoy the look of the color shifting glitters against the dark base.  Formula and application were both great.  I used 2 coats and topcoat to keep it smooth and glossy.
