China Glaze Lite Brite Collection, Summer 2016

Hullo lovelies!  Sorry for being so absent this month.  Kids, family and extra curricular activities have been adding up and sadly it's my little blog that's been shunned to the back burner.  I still love my blog and my readers!  So today I figured I'd share the awesome new china Glaze Lite Brite collection.  This is their  Summer collection and as we all know China Glaze loves to put out neons at this time of the year.  Neons can be tricky, sometimes dull or chalky.  But not the Lite Brite Collection!  I was very pleased with the formula of each one of these and was also pretty darn happy that this was a mix of cremes, shimmers and jellies.  Anywho, the Lite Brite collection is currently available and if you long for searing neons in gorgeous shades and finishes I suggest you hustle to the beauty supply shop and pick up a few (or all 12) of these!

Lip Smackin' Good is a vibrant neon pink with a slight coral undertone.  It's got some subtle neon pink shimmer.  Formula and application were both really nice.  It does dry matte so you want topcoat to help get that shimmer to stand out.  I used 2 coats plus topcoat.

Bite Me reminds me of the 1980's.  It's bright, neon, in-ya-face!  It's a super neon pink with gold shimmer.  Love it!  Formula and application were top notch.  This one also dried with a dull finish so don't skip on the topcoat.

Let's Jam is a medium toned purple.  I actually like that this leans more to the pastel side, almost like those sun-washed neons we saw in abundance last year.  But this one is amped up with gorgeous blue shimmer.  Formula and application were both fabulous.  I used 2 coats and topcoat.

What I Like About Blue is a bright aqua with silvery shimmer.  Super pretty color and lovely formula.  Applied easily in 2 coats.  I finished with topcoat.

Papa Don't Peach is an awesome neon peach leaning reddish jelly full of glittery gold shimmer.  Hullo amazing!  I loved this one much more than I expected to.  Formula and application were both great.  I used 3 coats for full coverage and topcoat.

We Got The Beet is another jelly finish, but it's a beautiful purple shade with that same glittery gold shimmer.  I think the shimmer is actually just more chunky than in the other shimmer polishes in this collection.  I used 2 coats and you can still see my nail line so I'd suggest using a 3rd coat to cover that up.

Hot Flash is a neon red (if there is such a thing) creme.  Love this color!  Vibrant, bright, it seams "LOOK AT ME!"  Formula and application were fabulous.  2 coats and no topcoat used.

I'll Pink To That is a neon pink creme, thought it's not as bright as some of the other neons in this collection.  It's just beautiful and bright.  I used 2 coats and no topcoat.

None Of Your Risky Business is a neon orange.  Simple as that!  Like orange juice all hyped up!  This was the only one I had any application issues with.  It was a little streaky and didn't want to even out, I ended up using 3 coats.  No topcoat.

Whip It Good is a no-so-neon yellow that again reminds me of the sun-bleached shades from last year.  I 'think' the name is also a play on the Dole Pineapple Whip, yuuu-um!  Yellow is notorious for being tricky and surprisingly this one was not at all.  I had zero application issues.  I used 2 coats, no topcoat.

Lime After Lime is a vibrant lime green creme.  This is a fun shade of green.  Most of my neon greens are like burn your eyes out (which I love), but this is more subtle.  Subtle yet still bright enough and so fun for hot days!  Also I want a lime margarita now.  2 coats and no topcoat.

Last but not least is I Got A Blue Attitude, which is actually more like a blurple.  And in real life it seems a but more dusty (my pics are more vibrant than the actual color).  I did have a surprise here though...hi there blue shimmer!  I wasn't expecting you!  I didn't notice it until I was in the sunlight.  It's very faint on the nails but you will see it.  Formula and application were both nice.  2 coats and a layer of topcoat.
