Howling Blue Moon

Ninja Polish came out with a pretty fabulous Halloween collection recently and I am happy to share Howling Blue Moon with you tonight!  Ninja Polish describes Howling Blue Moon as, "a metallic blue jelly base that glows blue/white in the dark.  It is accented with ultra fine holographic glitters that represent the stars in the in the blue night sky.  For the added howling touch, there are crescent moons to accent each nail as desired!"  Spot on description for a fun and lovely polish.

I used 2 coats of Howling Blue Moon.  You can see my tips in some lighting so I would suggest 3 coats if you want compels opacity.  Application was easy, with a smooth flowing formula.  I got 4 moons out and didn't have to dig for them.  I loved the holo glitter particles, they really sparkled in the sun!  On it's own HBM dried with a gritty feel so I used a layer of topcoat to smooth it out.  I would recommend Gelous and topcoat together for optimum smoothness.  HBM is glow in the dark, and it was very apparent when I went to bed.  Of course as you know, I am awful at capturing gitd in a picture so I don't have any of those to share with you.

You can purchase Howling Blue Moon as well as Spooky Floam, which I reviewed here, at the Ninja Polish website!
